First checks for any error
General steps that sort out most connection and download errors. They aren't specific to one code.
- Check whether it's on Rockstar's side. Look at Rockstar's service status (and PlayStation Network or Xbox status). If services are down, the error clears when they're back; there's nothing to fix at your end.
- Restart the console and the router. Fully shut the console down (not Rest Mode or Sleep), unplug the router for 30 seconds, then start both again.
- Check storage and the download. If the error appears while downloading or installing, make sure there's enough free space, then pause and resume the download, or delete it and download again.
- Update the console. Install any system update, then start GTA 6 again so it can fetch its own latest patch.
